Molly Leonard has been a lifelong visitor to the Highlands/Cashiers area and established a strong connection when her parents built a house in Highlands in 1960. She fell in love with the mountains and left her native Atlanta in 1999 to become a full time resident. Her family has been active in the real estate community in Atlanta since the early 1970’s, and she continues that tradition in Highlands. She was associated with the Highlands office of Harry Norman, Realtors for 15 years before moving to Highlands Sotheby’s in 2015. She believes the Sotheby’s brand offers her the opportunity to connect with agents across the United States and market her properties more effectively. Molly is very active in the local community having served on the boards of the Highlands Cashiers Board of Realtors, Upper Cullasaja Watershed Association, Mountain Garden Club and the Land Stewards of the Highlands Plateau. The Mountain Garden Club plant sale raises money each year to support and assist local organizations. She is an avid hiker and native plant enthusiast. Her mission is to share her love of the mountains with her clients, assist them in finding the right property that fits their needs and make sure they find the process a positive one.
